Hello Guys….

My name is Desi Septiani, called Desi. I am a college student with a big dream. Now, I am studying in Semarang State University and take accounting for my major. In this time, I will tell you about my dreams.

I have many aspired dreams. My first aspiration when I was Elementary School was become a teacher, because I thought it was very fun to meet children every day. They were so cute and unadorned. I could teach them many things like lesson, live, social, culture and many more.  We could study together and meet every day. I inspired to become a teacher by my Elementary School’s teacher. She was very kind people, smart and loving her student like her child. This profession was a noble job.

But, when I was Junior High School, I wanted to be a famous singer. I liked sing so much. So, I joined to choir group. I studied about tone, how to read a tone, song rhythm and others with my teacher called Mr. Pranata. He was very kind and friendly teacher. I got much knowledge from him.

Then, my dreams changed when I was Vocational High School. I wanted to be a DPR’s (Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat) member. Why? Because I wanted to make this country peaceful and free from corruption. I also wanted to hear Indonesian’s citizens voice. But, I thought it was just a dream. Become a DPR’s member was difficult. I had to have many acquaintances and relations, closer to the Indonesia's ctize. A lot of things must I did to become DPR’s member. I realized my ability was not enough to become a DPR’s member.

As time goes by, I realized what my true dream: an accountant in a company or work in government institute like an auditor or taxation employee. Because what? My major in university was accounting. So, if I worked in accounting, I could apply my knowledge that I have learned during this time. Work in accounting filled with the risk of error. So, I had to serious, honest, responsible, and be careful to minimize the occurrence of errors.

After I worked, I would collect or saved my money to build a small business and I hope it would thrive into a large company. I would strive and hard work to reach my dreams. I wanted proud my parents and gave what they want. All of them, I dedicated to my parents that I loved so much.

When someone ask me, what I prefer being a businesswoman or public servant, I will answer like this.

For now, I prefer being a public civil servant. Because I want serve my country and looking for work experience. Besides that, utilizing my spare time, I want being businesswoman to increase my income. I will make a small business like catering, online shop, and others. And if my business has become a large business, I want to make a restaurant that serves traditional foods from Wonosobo. From that, I can introduce traditional foods from Wonosobo to the world and I can reduce unemployment in Indonesia by opening a business.

I think enough from me, hope my dreams come true. :)
