TENSES
1.
Present
Tense:
a.
Indonesia
uses two methods in counting national income; they are production approach and
expenditure approach.
b.
Java
Island dominates the economic structure of Indonesia in 2015.
c.
Indonesia’s
Trade Balance Sheet in March, 2015 shows that Indonesia has export surplus Rp 9.78
trillion.
2.
Past
Tense:
a.
President
Jokowi marked up the price of fuel oil when the price of world’s crude oil was
going down.
b.
Indonesia
could produce 25.8 ton rice in 1984, so Indonesia was successful in food sovereignty.
c.
Rupiah
was defined as Indonesia’s currency on November 2, 1949.
3.
Present
Continuous Tense:
a.
Indonesia
is preparing its human resources to be ready in facing AEC.
b.
Recently,
the government is applying many programs to increase the quality of Indonesian
agriculture for food sovereignty.
c.
The
government is trying to increase national income from taxes.
4.
Past
Continuous Tense:
a.
DEN
(Dewan Ekonomi Nasional) was made when Gus Dur was being the president of
Indonesia to solve the monetary crisis and improve the Indonesian economic.
b.
Corruption,
collusion, and nepotism were happening massively while Soeharto was being the
president of Indonesia.
c.
Although
the food production of our country was increased, but the farmer’s prosperity
was reduced when Indonesia was applying Green Revolution Policy (Kebijakan
Revolusi Hijau).

5.
Past
Perfect Tense:
a.
Indonesia
had been the corner of International trading before the colonizer came.
b.
People
had done transaction with barter before they knew money.
c.
People
preferred chatting via online than communicating directly after
they had known internet.
Note:
I changed “success” to be “succesful” in my past tense because
I realized that success is a noun and successful is an adjective.
