My Dreams
My name is Nurul Holifah. I have a lot of dreams. When
I was in elementary school, I wanted to be a teacher. It was
because my teachers were
smart, kind, and patient, so I thought being a teacher was a noble job. My dream kept going
on until I was in junior high school.
Do you know friends? My dream to be a teacher suddenly
changed to be a president when I was in vocational high school. There were some reasons why I wanted to be a president. First, I have a high
social care, I was so sad if I watched many street children, poverty in
everywhere, and bad news of the Indonesia’s economic on the television. Second,
I have a leadership soul. I wanted to lead Indonesia to be better country.
Third, I wanted the people in this country be smart, prosperous, and kept together,
so that we would ready to face the threat from the other countries. I knew that
was amazing dream, but I thought that nothing’s impossible in this world.
When I graduated from the vocational high school, I
realized that being a president was fully responsible job and be a leader was
not an
easy
thing. I realized
that my capability was very low. Maybe because I began to be old in mind. After that, I changed my dream to become a
public accountant, so I decided to take accounting in UNNES, the same major
that I took in my vocational high school. I love accounting so much.
Now, I’m studying in UNNES by Bidikmisi scholarship (a scholarship for the poor and
smart student that was given by the country). Because of it, I always study hard
to be smart and graduate as soon as possible. I always think how I can help my country as my country helps me to study in the college. Finally, I got the answer after I got an entrepreneurship lesson in the class. Do you know
what the answer? The answer is besides I want to be a public accountant I also want
to be a businesswoman. If you ask why, I will answer because I want to
build my own business, so that I can make job vacancies for many Indonesian
people. The income that I earn from my job as a public accountant is for my
family and the income from my business is for my country. I hope I can build a
mosque, a school for the poor and a library. Now, I know how to make Indonesia
to be better country without being a president.
And my assignments now are study hard to be a
professional accountant and learn to be a good entrepreneur step by step from building a small business. I can apply my
skill in accounting by my job as a public accountant and I can apply my hobby, my
leadership and my accounting skill by building a business that I love. I hope my dreams will come
true and useful for me, my family, and my country. Amin.
It's a noble dream, Nurul. Hope your dreams come true :)
BalasHapusThanks Desi :-)
HapusGood job Nurul :D
BalasHapusNurul I think street children is incorrect. It is not a proper words for "anak jalanan / anak gelandangan." You shall change with "waif."
BalasHapusAre you sure "country be smart", please correction? I think the correct is "... country to be smart .."
BalasHapus"..the threat from the other countries" you should change "other countries" with "other country" to make it correct.
UNNES is not abbreviation but acronym, so you should write "Unnes" :)
Fighting to make your dreams come true.
Your dreams are very noble Nurul :) You are such a person who really care of social life. May Allah guide your way to reach your dreams.
