Arini, your second sentence in simple past tense that you write "When she heard a strange noise, she got up to investigate." I think you must add adverb of time to show if that is past simple tenses. May I ask you? Why number 4 the title is past progressive tense not past continuous tense? :)
BalasHapusFor number 5 in past perfect tense in first sentence I think it corrected this morning in English lesson.
okay i will add adverb of time yet, in number four past progressive tense is similar to past continous tense :) but i will change it
Hapusno ratri it is correct I mean it is name a website Belajar-English.Com I think I should change uppercase in this sentence :)
Arini, I watnt give some corrections for your post.
BalasHapus1. "Indonesia should not impor..". You should change "should not" to "shall not". Because that sentence is Simple Present Tense.
2. "...starved due to several years of drought." I think "started" not "starved".
Thank you, Arini. :D
"Indonesia should not impor.." I think this sentence is correct because shall use for future tense, shall mean "akan" while the meaning of this sentence is "seharusnya". the past form of should is "should have + past paarticiple" example : I have studied last night. :)
Hapusam i wrong ? please give me comment about this
i think starved is right desi not started :D
Desi, I think starved is right because in my opinion Arini wanted to say "banyak orang di negara itu kelaparan". Arini have to use "were" before "starved".
BalasHapusyes nurul you are right , thankyou :)
HapusI think it is correct, can you give me a reoson that I have to use "were" before "starved" ?
